Facility Rentals
POLICY & PROCEDURES FOR LORENA MC FACILITIES
To reserve a space, please fill out the form linked below and return it with payment to the church office. Fees for the Organist, Media and Sound Techs, Musicians and the Minister are not included in the Building Use Fees and may be charged separately.
SANCTUARY
The church Sanctuary seats approximately 120 people comfortably for a Wedding, Ceremony or Funeral. The accommodations include a space for the bride and her party to prepare for the ceremony and a private restroom. There is also a space for the groom and groomsmen to prepare. Ceremonies that wish to use the audio/visual equipment are required to employ one of the Lorena MC sound/video technicians. Please contact the church office to confirm availability (254-857-4283).
Rental Rate:
Member: $100 with a $50 deposit (non-refundable, must be made at time of scheduling). Member is defined as an individual who is a professed member of Lorena MC (and is currently in attendance). This includes immediate family members only.
Non-Member: $350 and a $50 deposit (non-refundable, must be made at time of scheduling).
FELLOWSHIP HALL
The Fellowship Hall seats approximately 120 people, and has an attached kitchen that can be hidden with pull-down shutters. Round and rectangular tables and chairs are available on site.
Rental Rate:
Member: No Use Fee
Non-Member: $150 ($100 each additional day), and a $50 deposit (non-refundable, must be made at time of scheduling).
SANCTUARY AND FELLOWSHIP HALL
Rental Rate:
Member: $100 with a $50 deposit (non-refundable, must be made at time of scheduling).
Non-Member: $500 and a $50 deposit (non-refundable, must be made at time of scheduling).
Wedding/Ceremony reservation includes use of Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall the day of and the evening prior to the event.
ADDITIONAL POLICY NOTES:
All building/room users will agree to and be covered by the following guidelines:
• Lorena MC will not be held responsible or liable for any injury, loss of personal items, or damages as the result of actions or negligence by the user or user’s group during their use of the Lorena MC building or facilities.
• Permission for any event must be obtained from the church pastor, and the pastor must approve all event music.
• Users will be responsible for any and all damages that occur.
• There will be no unattended children in hallways or rooms.
• All premises are to be cleaned and left in the same condition in which they were found.
• The church may waive fees for use of the facilities by any local civic or non-profit organization (scouts, little league, softball organizations, etc.) However, an annual or seasonal deposit of $40 will be required, which will be forfeited along with forfeiture of building use, for failure to maintain premises properly.
• Cleanup fees for weddings and ceremonies are policy and may not be waived.
• Candles are allowed only with a covering under the candles to prevent any wax damage.
• Before leaving the premises, turn the air conditioner to 79°/heater 75°.
• There will be no smoking or alcohol use in any area of the building.
